The city of Bountiful has the right to set standards for its employees. It is not a matter of free speech but a matter of choice. Do I want to work for Bountiful or do I want a visible tattoo?
The state of Utah is a right-to-work state. Does that mean that I can choose to be a bank robber and the state will allow me to be one? No, the state has set standards, and I have the choice to follow them or not and pay the consequences.
Many people do not understand the difference, including KSL Nightside.
I personally do not support businesses that allow their employees to wear jewelry in weird places and have tattoos. It is my choice.
