Auditions

• The American Fork Symphony has openings for all instruments including strings and percussion. For more information contact Maxine Steele at 801-756-2330.
Rehearsals are held each Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at American Fork Junior High School, 1120 N. 20 West. Rehearsals begin on Saturday, Sept. 6. The symphony's first concert will be Oct. 20.
• The Salt Lake Symphony is looking for musicians to audition for its 2008-09 season. Auditions will take place Tuesday, Aug. 26. Those wishing to schedule an audition should call Joyce Mahoney at 250-9419.
Musicians auditioning should prepare two contrasting pieces and be ready to sight read.
• The Salt Lake Symphonic Choir is auditioning tenors, baritones and basses. For more information contact Jan at 801-699-7343 or log onto www.saltlakesymphonicchoir.org
