I disagree with Steve Crain about the Readers' Forum (Readers' Forum, Aug. 12). I think "disgrace" is too harsh. I agree some of the letters are silly, but some are also humorous. At the same time, there are some letters that express good, thoughtful ideas.
I don't believe any publication needs to get rid of its letters to the editor. The forum gives us a chance to spout off about a frustration or comment on a positive item.
I disagree with Steve Crain, but I am glad he took the opportunity to express his feelings.
