First down: Two expected starters, fullback Fui Vakapuna and middle linebacker Matt Bauman, made their first extensive appearances on the field on Tuesday.

Head-turner: Freshman Spencer Hafoka scored on a 40-yard bomb from Max Hall during an 11-on-11 segment. QB Brenden Gaskins connected with Matt Marshall for another big gain.

Injury report: Linebacker Matt Ah You missed practice with a bruised sternum, safety David Tafuna sat out with a concussion for the second straight day and WR Austin Collie, although fully geared up, did not do any running or impact drills.
