First down: Opening their second week of fall camp, the Cougars held a pair of practices Monday.

Head-turner: Linebacker Matt Ah You has pulled even with Shawn Doman at one of the starting inside linebacking positions. Wide receiver Luke Ashworth scored a touchdown on an end around during an 11-on-11 noncontact scrimmage during the morning session.

Injury report: Safety David Tafuna sat out of practice Monday after sustaining a helmet-to-helmet hit during Saturday's scrimmage.
