Head-turner: Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said defensive backs Lamar Chapman and Sean Smith made some nice plays. He also praised wide receiver Freddie Brown's performance.
Injury report: Running back Matt Asiata is out for a few days while recovering from a mild ankle sprain. Tight end Neli A'asa (knee scope) and defensive lineman Thor Salanoa (broken hand) are also sidelined. Linebacker Stevenson Sylvester (knee tendinitis) spent time in The Pit as well. Wide receiver David Reed (groin strain) returned to practice.
