USU Extension in Weber County, 1181 N. Fairgrounds Drive, Ogden, offers:

• Salsa Sensations Aug. 26, noon-1 p.m., $3

• Water Bath Canning and Pressure Canning, Aug. 27, noon-1 p.m., $3

• Freezing and Drying, Aug. 28, 1-2 p.m., $3

Lunch (based on the canned results) will be provided. Register at 399-8207.

Salt Lake County Extension, 2001 S. State, #1200, offers free pressure gauge testing for pressure canners (extension.usu.edu/saltlake/htm/nutrition/canning).
