The "Last Comic Standing" is not a Utahn. West Jordan native Marcus made it to the final two of the NBC reality/competition show but went home as the runner-up.

The title, along with $250,000 in prize money and a development deal with NBC, went to Iliza Schlesinger, the only woman among the five finalists voted on by viewers after last week's show, and the only woman in the final 10.

Marcus, however, said being on the show "changed my life" and gave him "a future doing what I love. Just being up on the stage and ... making people laugh is just the greatest feeling in the world. And now I get to do that as my job."

He will be back in Utah this weekend for a pair of previously scheduled dates. Marcus is scheduled to appear at the Wiseguys Comedy Cafe, 269 25th St. in Ogden, on Saturday at 8 and 10 p.m.; on Sunday, he's at the Wiseguys at 2200 W. 3500 South in West Valley, also at 8 and 10 p.m. Tickets both nights are $20.
