It has been a privilege and honor of mine to go Outdoors each week with Ray Grass as the designer of his weekly Outdoors sections and as his friend. He is a talented, dedicated man who loves his job — and it has shown in the quality work he has produced for this newspaper for 47 years. I will miss him greatly. He was my rock at the Deseret News, the person who I could always go to, and he was always there for me. Cheers to Ray, cheers to the outdoors, our forever bond.
