EAGLE MOUNTAIN Steve Mumford will be Eagle Mountain's interim planning director, city officials recently announced.
The position will give Mumford plenty of responsibility in helping to plan the growing northern Utah County city.
"Mumford has a good vision for the future of Eagle Mountain and we are excited to announce him as our interim planning director," Mayor Heather Jackson said. Jackson said she was pleased to maintain continuity in the planning department by promoting a qualified candidate from within. Mumford has been with the city for nearly one year.
The planning department's responsibilities include long-range planning, development services, business licensing, code enforcement, mapping and many other duties.
