OREM Shortstop John Alfaro led the Chukars to a decisive 7-1 victory over the Owlz Friday night. Alfaro went 4-for-5 with 3 RBIs and a homer. The Owlz struggled both offensively and defensively, finishing the game with six errors and only three hits. The only run scored by Orem was just after Chukars pitcher Justin Garcia left the game due to an injured leg.
Ghosts 2, Raptors 1: Both Ogden and Casper remained scoreless until the fifth inning, when Kyle Orr and Joseph Massy doubled. Ghosts pitcher Jeffrey Fischer sealed the win by striking out eight Raptors.
