A 30-day protest period began Friday for Bureau of Land Management documents that received almost 33,000 comment submissions during their draft stages.
The protest period will end Sept. 2 for the Proposed Resource Management Plan (PRMP) and Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Moab Field Office.
After that, the BLM will issue a "Record of Decision," which will authorize the management decisions in the Management Plan.
