OGDEN — A woman was killed here when her car was broadsided in an intersection.
Police said Kathleen D. Bowles, 54, was headed south at 12th and Monroe Blvd. about 3:30 p.m. Monday when her car was broadsided by a pickup truck.
"It appears the westbound vehicle (the truck) ran the red light," Ogden Police Lt. Scott Sangberg said Tuesday. "We think her death was almost instantaneous."
The crash remains under investigation, Sangberg said, and citations may be issued when it is wrapped up and submitted to the Weber County Attorney's Office to review.
