OGDEN — A child pornography case has been dropped against an ex-Roy High School drama teacher.

During an appearance in 2nd District Court on Monday, prosecutors asked to dismiss two second-degree felony charges of sexual exploitation of a minor against Kamron Klitgaard, 42. Court records indicate Weber County prosecutors made the decision "in the interests of justice."

A misdemeanor charge may be filed in Roy Justice Court, the court records said.

Klitgaard was arrested after a police investigation claimed that pornographic images were found on a computer he used at the school.
