Writing class starts Aug. 7

PLEASANT GROVE — The Writer's Studio of Utah has begun registration for a six-week course titled "Jumpstarting Your Writing Career," beginning Aug. 7. Sessions will be presented by professional writers, including studio founders Randy Jernigan and Geri Taylor.

The course will include all writing genres and will focus on generating new ideas, writing as practice, how to make time to write and developing the discipline to write.

The six-week workshop will be held at the Pleasant Springs Apartment clubhouse at 884 W. 700 S. in Pleasant Grove. Cost is $225. Seating is limited. For information about the classes, call Taylor at 801-796-5755 or go to www.thewritersstudio.info.
