BYU soccer team ends season with tie

The BYU men's soccer team ended its season Saturday in Provo with a 1-1 tie against the Abbotsford Mariners. The game ended with 15 shots on goal for the Cougars and seven for the Mariners.

The Mariners' Spencer Schmidt scored in the ninth minute on a free kick. BYU tied the game in the 85th minute when Aaron Gabbart played a through ball to forward Steven Fellows, who took a touch with his right foot and blasted the ball into the back of the net. The Cougars recognized their four seniors: Morgan Gilliam, Clay Christenson, Aaron Gabbart and Brandon Gilliam.
