Williams' incident 'upsets' Pacers

Love, the fifth overall selection in last month's draft, averaged a league-best 13.5 rebounds in four summer contests. He added 18 points per game.

His top performance was Friday against Portland when he had 26 points and 15 rebounds in an 88-78 victory against the Trail Blazers.

OKC SEASON TICKET REQUEST TOPS 16,000: More than 16,000 people have signed up to a season-ticket request list for Oklahoma City's new NBA team.

Officials of the team formerly known as the Seattle SuperSonics said Sunday they have concluded the first phase of a season-ticket request list. Those on the list signed up in just 16 days.

Team spokesman Dan Mahoney said officials are pleased with the level of support for the NBA in Oklahoma City. Mahoney added that Oklahoma City's sales team will contact fans to provide specific ticket details.

One newspaper report said Sunday the new team will be named the Thunder when it begins play this fall.
