ST. GEORGE Two people were killed when their car crashed on I-15 near here early Friday morning.
"We had a vehicle that was southbound and the driver may have started to doze off," Utah Highway Patrol trooper Cameron Roden said Friday. "She went to the left, overcorrected to the right, went across the lane, hit the guardrail and went up and over the guardrail."
The car then rolled down a steep embankment, troopers said, ejecting the driver and front passenger. A 6-year-old girl suffered head injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. The UHP said they are still trying to identify the dead, but said the driver was a 38-year-old woman from Nevada.
