The final four in the Utah Men's State Amateur at Soldier Hollow are Dan Horner, Darrin Overson, Christian Jensen and Devin Daniels.
In the tightest match on Saturday morning, Horner edged Carl Jensen 1-up to advance to Saturday afternoon's semifinal matches. Horner birdied the par-5 16th to go 1 up, after which he bogeyed the par-3 17th to even the match. However, Jensen made a bogey six on the par-5 18th to hand the match to Horner.
Daniels got past BYU's Robbie Fillmore 3 and 2 even though Fillmore was 3-under par on the day. Daniels came out of the gate on fire, making birdie on five of his first six holes. He also had an eagle.
Jensen, with four birdies on the front nine, rolled past Steve Poulson 4 and 3. He's facing Overson, who knocked off former Delta High golfer Casey Fowles 2 and 1.
