SANDY — A man with a history of seizures was seriously hurt Saturday morning when the white sport-utility vehicle he was driving crashed and rolled on Creek Road near Highland Drive.

The man was taken by emergency helicopter to a local hospital but is expected to recover, said Sandy Police Lt. Mitch Howard.

A fence was destroyed in the 11 a.m. crash but the SUV was the only vehicle involved, Howard said. Police are still investigating the crash but believe it was caused by a medical condition.
