Single adults are invited to Baptist conference

PROVO — A Baptist singles group from Sunnyvale First Baptist Church of East Dallas County, Texas, will minister through July 17 at First Baptist Church of Provo at 1144 W. Columbia Lane.

A singles rally including dinner and worship will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at the church for single adults of all ages and backgrounds. Singles minister Scott Paugh will speak, and worship will be led by Tom McLaughlin, music minister and leader of the Single Parent Ministry at Sunnyvale. Christian singles of all ages are invited. The rally is free and includes dinner.

Other activities include:

• Sunday, Bible study for all ages at 9:45 a.m. The Adult Sunday School will be taught by Darla Paugh of Sunnyvale. Worship celebration is at 11 a.m. The Provo church's annual Picnic at the Park will be Sunday following worship.

• Club VBS, Cactus Canyon Vacation Bible School for toddlers, children, teens, up to adults will be Sunday through July 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will be led by the group from Texas. The public is welcome. For more information call 369-7968 or e-mail Paugh at scottpaugh@hotmail.com.
