SOUTH SALT LAKE A man robbed a Mexican eatery at gunpoint Thursday night.
About 9:20 p.m., the man walked into La Guadalupana Taqueria at 266 E. 3300 South, showed an employee a black handgun and demanded money, said South Salt Lake Police Lt. Dwayne Ruth.
The employee gave the robber an undetermined amount of cash. The man walked out of the restaurant and headed west. Police were unable to locate him.
Witnesses described the robber as a Hispanic male between 30 and 40, wearing a long-sleeved shirt with brown squares, dark pants and a brown baseball hat.
