Ogden will be the site of four major international archery events in the coming years.
Jeff Robbins, president/CEO of the Utah Sports Commission, said Thursday the 2009 archery qualifier for the first Youth Olympic Games, as well as three World Cup archery events in 2010, 2011 and 2012, have committed to come to Ogden.
Among those present at the announcement were Denise Parker, the 1988 Olympic bronze medalist from Salt Lake City, Jay Barrs, the 1988 gold medalist and Jim and Greg Easton of Easton Sports, which makes among other things archery arrows.
