The half marathon will start at Ruby's Inn near the entrance to Bryce Canyon, go through Bryce Canyon City and end at Cannonville City Park. The 5K starts and ends at Cannonville City Park.

The half marathon, which is 13.1 miles, will start a 6 a.m. and the 5K at 6:30 a.m.

Entry fee for the marathon is $25 and the 5K $20 until July 12, then the fee increases by $5. Total cash prize is $3,000.

A CHANCE TO ROW

High school students will have to opportunity to try rowing on the Great Salt Lake on Monday.

Utah Crew, the only public youth rowing program in Utah, will be offering one free rowing lesson to new high-school-age rowers at the Great Salt Lake Marina on at 5 p.m.
