A resolution hearing has been set for July 31 in the case of a man charged with stealing $15,000 worth of art from a downtown Salt Lake City gallery.
Robert Paul Tucker, 30, has been charged in 3rd District Court with burglary and theft, both third-degree felonies.
Prosecutors contend he took 18 giclee canvas reproductions from the Repartee Gallery at the downtown Deseret Books outlet on May 3. A former employee of the gallery, Tucker is reported to have helped police recover most off the missing art.
