The missing California boy in the middle of multistate Amber Alert has been found at an LDS church in Mexico.
An Amber Alert was issued for Utah over the weekend when authorities believed Ryan Ramos, 9, and his father may have been in the area. That alert was canceled on Saturday, however, when police said Lonnie Ramos was believed to be headed for Mexico.
On Sunday, Ryan Ramos was safe and in the custody of the U.S. consulate after being dropped off at an LDS church in Juarez, the Orange County Register reported.
Lonnie Ramos, 46, is suspected of shooting Gynnae Ramos, 41, when she came to his house to pick up their son, according to Orange County police. Lonnie Ramos remains at large. Gynnae Ramos had been upgraded to good condition on Sunday.
