Honey is a 10-month-old female pit bull mix. She's small for her breed and super sweet. She's shy at first but warms up quickly. She loves playing with other dogs and plays gently around children. She's very active and hopes to go to a home where she'll get plenty of exercise.

Joey is a neutered 9-month-old domestic shorthair cat. Joey is very loving and will follow at your feet. He is looking for a loving indoor home where he can be a lap kitty and get lots of love and affection. He loves being held and meeting new people.

Adoption rates are $95 for dogs and $65 for cats, which includes sterilization, vaccinations, a microchip and free first veterinary exam. If you are interested in Honey, Joey or another animal, visit Salt Lake County Animal Services at 511 W. 3900 South Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., or call at 559-1100.
