LAYTON — The West Gentile Street reconstruction project is still on schedule and should be completed this fall.

The project involves complete road excavation for reconstruction and utility modification from 2200 West to 3700 West (the western Layton border) and installation of a new traffic signal at 3200 West.

West Gentile Street will remain closed to through traffic from 2200 West to 3700 West until the project is completed. The intersection of 3200 West and West Gentile Street will also be closed.

Only local traffic will be allowed within the construction area.

A detour route has been established for through traffic and may be viewed at www.laytoncity.org/downloads/PubWorks/GentileDetour070208.pdf.
