Leadership scholarships

Salt Lake City residents interested in developing leadership skills to help them become more active in their communities are invited to apply for a Leadership Utah scholarship.

The scholarships, offered by Mayor Ralph Becker's Human Rights Commissions, provide tuition waivers to attended the Salt Lake Chamber's yearlong Leadership Utah training program. The program is aimed at helping business leaders learn more about challenges facing the community.

The application deadline for the scholarship is July 14. For more information, visit www.slcgov.com/mayor/divHR.
