ALUMNI UPDATES: According to the Rocky Mountain News, an unidentified source "said the Denver Nuggets have had discussions about Carlos Arroyo," the ex-Jazz point guard most recently with the Orlando Magic.

Also, the San Antonio Express-News reported that ex-Jazz point guard Jacque Vaughn will "return to San Antonio for the final year of his deal." Vaughn is scheduled to earn the veteran minimum next season and decided not to opt out of his contract.

KORVER IN INDIA: Jazz backup shooting guard Kyle Korver has spent the past week in India, where he is donating time to the NBA's Basketball Without Borders program.

"What instantly grabs your attention in India is the traffic," he said.

"The traffic is absolutely bananas. It's a madhouse out here," Korver told NBA.com. "It's almost like they just passed out all of these cars and didn't teach anyone how to drive and basically told them to figure it out, but showed them where the horn is. "There are two lanes on each side of the road, but no one stays in the lane. There are cars next to each other swerving in and out, just constantly honking their horns."
