Players change sides after every game. If a fifth game is required, players change as soon as one player reaches eight points.

Doubles

A doubles match can be played with two adjacent courts.

Doubles service

Players draw to see which team serves first. The server has three serves in sequence and must serve to the diagonal playing field. The serve is always made from the right-hand field to the left-hand diagonal field opposite. Service rotates back and forth. The next time Team A serves, players change places, so service always goes from the right. Once a serve is returned, all players can move freely around their respective fields. Once all four players have served, service returns to the first server.
