Host of festivities planned for Fourth of July

Sandy: July 4: 7 a.m. 5K Fun Run and 10K Sandy Classic; 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Youth Arts Festival; 10 a.m.-10 p.m., vendor booths, rides, activities, live music, arts; 6 p.m., parade; 7:30 p.m., concert with Cold Creek; 9 p.m., Charlie Jenkins; dusk, fireworks at Centennial Parkway and 10200 South. 801-568-2900.

West Jordan: July 3 to 5: Western Stampede Celebration. July 3: events begin at 4 p.m. July 4-5: events begin at 11 a.m.; 7 p.m., PRCA Rodeo.
