• Today — Patriotic Service at 7 a.m., BYU Marriott Center, Provo

• June 30-Aug. 22 — Children's art show on display, Health and Justice Building, 151 S. University Ave., Provo

• June 30 — UVUphoria Grand Celebration, all day, UVU (formerly UVSC) baseball stadium

• June 30 — Jr. Golf Classic, all day; Family golf and barbecue 5-9 p.m.; Cascade Golf Center, 1313 E. 800 North, Orem

• July 2 — Nite-Life Golf and Dinner, afternoon/evening; Cascade Golf Center, 1313 E. 800 North, Orem

• July 2 — Freedom Awards Gala, 6:30 p.m., BYU Wilkinson Center ballroom, Provo

• July 2-5 — Crandall Historical Printing Museum Colonial Days featuring a variety of events and displays and the play "Patriots in Petticoats," 275 E. Center St., Provo

• July 2-4 — Freedom 3v3 soccer tournament, times to be determined, BYU Harmon Conference Center soccer fields, Provo

• July 3-5 — Balloon Fest, 6:30 p.m. launch, Bulldog Field, 110 N. Freedom Blvd., Provo

• July 3-5 — Freedom Days with arts, crafts, food and entertainment, west Center Street off University Ave., Provo

• July 3-5 — Ellis Island in the Park, varies daily, SCERA Park, 600 S. State St., Orem

• July 4 — Freedom Run, starts at 7 a.m., Kiwanis Park, 820 N. 100 East, Provo

• July 4 — Grand Parade, starts at 9 a.m., 960 N. University Ave. to 900 E. Center St., Provo

• July 4 — Stadium of Fire, featuring Miley Cyrus in concert and the Blue Man Group with host Glenn Beck. Starts at 8 a.m., BYU LaVell Edwards Stadium, Provo
