'Chaps!' opening in Logan

One new show is opening this holiday week.

Old Lyric Repertory Company's production of "Chaps!" opens Thursday and runs through Aug. 2 at the Caine Lyric Theatre, Logan.

"Chaps!" set in 1944 during World War II, follows the famed American musician Tex Riley and his band of singing cowboys as they get lost on their way to the BBC station.

So the station staff has to fill in.

With tight four- and five-part harmonies, this witty comedy entertains with some good old-fashioned knee slappers and classic Western tunes.

"Chaps!" runs in repertory with the rest of the OLRC season, nights and times vary, matinees also available. Tickets are $12-$75 (435-797-8022 or www.usu.edu/lyric).
