A tanker spilled thousands of gallons of fuel into Indian Canyon late Tuesday after rolling on U.S. 191 in Duchesne County.

About 2,600 gallons of diesel fuel forced the closure of the highway around 10 p.m., said Utah Highway Patrol trooper Cameron Roden.

The driver suffered minor injuries. The investigation is continuing.
