Fairview area to host ham radio field day

FAIRVIEW, Sanpete County — The annual field day for ham radio operators in the Fairview area will be Saturday and Sunday about 13 miles northeast of town off state Route 31 on Skyline Drive.

Ham radio operators will be showing off their emergency radio capabilities. This event coincides with Amateur Radio Week.

The public is invited to attend the free event and learn about ham radio and its importance during disasters. For information, go to www.emergency-radio.org.
