LaRene Taylor hand-stitched 240 quilts for charity before arthritis forced her onto a sewing machine, where she then made 526 dresses and 121 pairs of pants for the less fortunate. What do you give a woman like that for her 80th birthday? Her family made 80 quilts — for her to give away.
