ROOSEVELT A Roosevelt man died when his pickup truck veered off a state highway near here and rolled several times.
Utah Highway Patrol trooper Todd Johnson identified the victim as Jason R. Pugh, a local in the area.
Pugh's truck was on State Road 40 about seven miles from Roosevelt sometime Friday morning when it veered off the roadway and then overcorrected. The east-bound truck hit an embankment and rolled several times. Pugh, 23, suffered major head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
