"Annie," Phoenix Theatre Company, Wednesday and Friday, 6-8 p.m., at the Academy of Performing Arts Complex, 3188 S. 400 East, South Salt Lake.
Those auditioning are asked to bring a headshot and resume and sing 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway style song. Please bring your music or a minus track. Script sides will be provided. "Annie" will run Aug. 23-Sept. 20 and will be directed by Collin Kreuzer.
"High School Musical," Wednesday and Thursday, 7 p.m., Heritage Theatre, 2505 S. Hwy. 89, Perry.
No one under age 16 will be allowed to audition. Please prepare a song that best fits your voice. Be warmed up and ready to dance. Adults will not dance but will read from the script. The director is looking for 10 girls, 10 boys and two adults. The production runs Aug. 29-Sept. 20 and is directed by Melanie Day.
"Pageant," Egyptian Theatre Company, June 30, 6-10 p.m., at the Utah Opera Space, 336 N. 400 West, Salt Lake City, and July 6, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Egyptian, 328 Main, Park City.
This is an all-male cast. Auditioners should come prepared to sing 16-20 bars of a show-appropriate song. Also be prepared to read and dance if asked. Headshot and resume are also helpful. The show runs Sept. 12-Oct. 18. Call the theater, 435-649-9371, to reserve an audition time.
