Years ago, a friend of mine was driving west on 400 South during a snowstorm. He lost control of his truck when he hit black ice. The truck did not hit any other vehicles, but it did slide into a concrete barrier, causing minor damage. The officer that responded gave my friend a ticket for failing to keep his vehicle under control.
I just read the article, "Effort to grab escaped gerbil wreaks havoc" (June 18). The article states that the driver was not cited. Was the gerbil cited?
