Singer/songwriter Ani DiFranco will perform a Utah Arts Festival prelude concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Library Square, 300 East and 400 South. Tickets for $28 are on sale at Positively 4th Street Music, 249 E. 400 South, or by calling 801-531-8181. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.uaf.org.

Barb Guy, Utah Art Festival public relations director, said some of the money from ticket sales will go toward the Utah Arts Festival.

"And since we take a few days to set up the Arts Festival grounds and the Amphitheater Stage is set up first and bare until the festival opens, we thought it would be a good idea to have a concert," said Guy.
