EAGLE MOUNTAIN The Eagle Mountain City Council approved a $6.6 million bond to expand the city's sewer facility.
The facility takes in about 300,000 gallons of waste water per day.
The upgrade will allow for 1.2 million gallons per day. The city has been working on expanding the facility for several years, and only serves Eagle Mountain residents living in the city center.
Residents in the Ranches are serviced by the Timpanogos Special Service District. The bond will last for 20 years.
