2 companies and 1 executive from Utah win Stevie Awards

Two Utah companies and one executive on Thursday earned honors in the sixth annual American Business Awards program, also known as the Stevie Awards.

Verite Inc. of Sandy won in the category of best interactive multimedia consumer entertainment/information. Omniture Inc. of Orem was one of two winners for best overall company with up to 2,500 employees. Chris Harrington, president of worldwide sales and client services for Omniture, earned the best sales executive honor.

The program featured 150 winners in 12 categories. Winners are chosen by a board consisting of American business leaders.
