ST. GEORGE — A 20-year-old Arizona man drowned while swimming with friends in Gunlock Reservoir on Wednesday afternoon.

Sebastien Chasse, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., was swimming back from a buoy in the lake when he had trouble breathing and went under the water, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

When rescuers arrived southeast of the lake's boat dock around 3:30 p.m., Chasse had not resurfaced for several minutes, police said.

Chasse's body was recovered from the water about 6:30 p.m. The death has been ruled accidental and no autopsy has been requested, police said.
