Learn about water-wise plants that do well in your landscape at the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy's Conservation Garden Park Saturday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. The district is located at 8215 S. 1300 West, West Jordan. For more information or to register for free classes, call call 877-728-3420 or go to www.slowtheflow.org.

Red Butte Garden is hosting a Penstemania class Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon. Regular garden admission applies, members get in free. No registration is required.

Bart Anderson will discuss pest management during the Garden Talks in the Park, Wednesday, 8 p.m., at the Brigham Young Historic Park on the corner of North Temple and State Street.
