Orientation sessions for Habitat this week

PROVO — Habitat for Humanity of Utah County will hold its yearly orientation meeting for those interested in qualifying for the affordable housing program.

Orientation sessions will be held Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Community Action Services and Food Bank, 815 S. Freedom Blvd.

Applications will be given out during the meeting. Those interested need only attend one of the sessions.

Habitat for Humanity is also seeking volunteers to help with at different city celebrations throughout the summer. Volunteers will help man the "Be A Hero for Habitat" booths and assist with the annual Day at the Beach activity during the Freedom Festival.
