Voters can already start casting their ballots for the June 24 primary election.

Just head on down to the Salt Lake County Clerk's Office, where in-office voting is available until June 23. The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additional early voting locations will open throughout the county beginning Tuesday and will remain open until June 20.

The June 24 election will whittle down legislative candidates and other state races, and determine who will sit on the school boards of Jordan's new east and west districts.

"Voters do not need an excuse to utilize these convenient voting options," Salt Lake County Clerk Sherrie Swensen said.

A schedule of all early voting locations is being mailed to each household this week as part of the Official Notice of Polling Location Postcard. Polling locations often change depending upon the size and scope of each election, so residents are encouraged to check their polling location on the postcard.

For more information, check www.clerk.slco.org or call GOT-VOTE (468-8683).
