The creator of the "SLC Pepper" mural and co-designer of the Beatles "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album cover, Jann Haworth, has a solo exhibition, "Pop Plastiques," opening Friday at the Gallery at Library Square.

From June 16-22, Haworth will be in residence at the library in the Special Collections Room, Level 4, where the public will have the opportunity to see and discuss her work with the artist.

Haworth will also hold Science Drawing Workshops for youths ages 9-14 on June 17, 19 and 21, from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Special Collections Room.

On June 26-29, during the Utah Art Festival, she will again be in residence at the library in the Special Collections Room from noon-5 p.m. From 1-3 p.m., Haworth will conduct a collage workshop based on conceptual aspects of the friendship quilt.
