KDYL radio (AM-1060) has undergone some changes this spring, but it is still committed to being live and local.

The station, with a "real oldies" format featuring music from the '50s and '60s, recently changed its personality lineup. "Steve O" (Carlson) is now the morning host (6-10 a.m. weekdays), while former morning host Mark Van Wagoner is now on from 1-3 p.m. Van Wagoner is also going solo instead of being paired on air with his wife, Gayle.

Danny Kramer, probably one of the Salt Lake market's longest-running afternoon hosts, is on the air from 3-6 p.m.

In between, J.C. Hackett offers a "Mid-day Cruisin' Cafe," from 10 a.m.-noon, and the "Real Deal Shopping Show" airs noon-1 p.m weekdays and 9-10 a.m. on Saturdays.

Other features on the station are Dick Clark's "Music Calendar" airing each weekday at 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

"Steve O" has traffic reports on his morning show from Joel Andrews, plus weather and news.

The station is owned by Carlson Communications, one of the few small, local radio companies remaining in the Salt Lake market. More information on the station is available at kdylam.com
