'High School Musical' star will headline Weber fair

OGDEN — Pop recording artist and actor Corbin Bleu — of "High School Musical" fame — will be the headliner at the 2008 Weber County Fair.

The concert will be Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. in the outdoor arena.

"We are thrilled and quite lucky to have a superstar like Corbin Bleu as part of our event," fair manager Jan Wilson said.

Drew Seeley will be performing with Bleu.

Bleu is one of the stars from the Disney phenomenon "High School Musical" movies and is currently in production on "High School Musical 3." Last year, he starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Jump In!," Disney's highest-rated original movie ever.

Tickets for the concert go on sale June 2 at 10 a.m. at the Golden Spike Event Center Box Office, 1000 N. 1200 West in Ogden, 801-399-8799, and at all Smith'sTix outlets or www.smithstix.com.

Reserved seats are $25 and $20. The limit is 10 tickets per person. The concert ticket includes admission to the fair.
